Er Ho Siong Hin
Senior Director (International WSH) Ministry of Manpower
Engineer Ho Siong Hin is currently the Senior Director for International Workplace Safety and Health with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore. He holds the concurrent appointment of Vice Dean for the Ministry of Manpower Academy.
Prior to these appointments, he was the Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health from 2005 to 2019. As Commissioner, he spearheaded the transformation of the work injury and ill health prevention culture in Singapore.
Er. Ho holds several positions in various organisations including:
- President, International Association of Labour Inspectors (IALI)
- Chairperson, International Social Security Association (ISSA)’s International Section on Prevention in Trade, Goods Logistics and Port Handling or “ISSA Trade” in short.
- Honorary Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, UK He was President of the 21st World Congress on Safety and Health held in Singapore in 2017.
